Are they ants or termites?

Nobody likes ants at their picnic or anywhere else for that matter. Ants have important jobs cleaning up the environment, but most of us would rather they didn’t clean up our countertops and picnic tables.

If it’s getting into your sugar bowl or cat food, chances are it’s an ant. However if you’re worried about termites too, you might want to know what those look like as well. Termites are stockier with thick waists and straight antennae. Ants on the other hand, have very thin waists and bent antennae.
